Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the best candidate for our Product Manager (PM) role is a person who is passionate about creating outstanding customer experiences to drive growth for Schaefer City. This person must be able to build positive relationships in a remote working environment.
As a growth-focused PM you will be in charge of leading and executing initiatives to improve user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. In your day-to-day you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to work on onboarding new clients, as well as identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement, leveraging user data and user feedback to iterate and enhance the onboarding and user experience.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and dive deep into our clients’ needs and behavior to uncover pain points and opportunities for improvement
- Use data and client feedback to iterate and innovate the product
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of growth initiatives and make data-driven decisions to optimize them
- Collaborate closely with our talented cross-functional teams—including Sales, Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing—to drive product growth
Position Requirements
- Ability to work remotely most of the time with the willingness to work in an office environment occasionally
- 5+ years of experience working as a product manager in a startup environment
- Experience with A/B testing, user research, and other growth-focused methodologies
- A willingness to fearlessly question assumptions and challenge the status quo, and a genuine curiosity for experimenting and measuring impact
- Ability to deliver a project end-to-end, from concept to the finish line
- Superior attention to details (while keeping an eye on the big picture) and an enthusiasm for delighting clients
- Exceptional analytical skills and experience harnessing data to inform decisions
- Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
