Plaintiff worked as a nurse. After a patient committed suicide, she suffered PTSD, among other concerns. Although the patient had jumped from a parking structure, the facility did not add additional safeguards to prevent this from happening again despite plaintiff’s requests. Plaintiff went on medical leave and ended up being terminated constructively. Jurors awarded $27.5 million.
