Plaintiff is the mother of is a teen boy suing on his behalf. The teen had been shot in the neck. He was hospitalized. The hospital failed to adequately test what he was able to swallow or conduct clinical observations. He was released and sent home with improper care instructions which led to him choking. Now he has permanent brain damage and requires round the clock care.
